Here’s a look at the Excel tool. With one click of the button, VBA code is run to pull the data from the Sharepoint site, refresh the Excel table working in the background, and pull through to the Excel dashboard shown here. The user can filter by different data elements, and the charts and tables will dynamically refresh

Dawn management decided they wanted to provide two users, one in Europe one in US, the ability to manage the system. And then host the data in Sharepoint, so the Excel tool could be distributed to managers across the company in any location and easily connect with the data. We are Sharepoint experts and have delivered many, successful Sharepoint development projects.

We were contracted to develop a reporting system for Dawn. They have many manufacturing sites all over the world. Our challenge was to build a data warehouse type repository to upload export files from each of their systems, manipulate the data, and provide a clean, user friendly Excel dashboard to view key metrics and filter and drill down into data.
In our early years, our expertise was in Microsoft Excel and Access. We still rely heavily on these tools, when it makes sense. Companies usually want the output of a reporting or dashboard project to be Excel. We have grown into a full services IT programming and software development company, but we’re still proud of our Excel and Access and believe we are among the best in the world in those technologies.
